Sunny is the Co-Founder & CEO of CareCognitics, a digital health company which is on a mission to improve quality of care through data science.  Sunny’s last venture docBeat, a healthcare care coordination platform, was successfully acquired by Vocera communications. Sunny has an impressive track record of Strategy, Business Development, Innovation and Execution in the Healthcare, Casino Entertainment, Retail and Gaming verticals. Sunny holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from University of Kentucky at Lexington and a Master’s degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Computer Science from the University of Memphis. Sunny is the Co-Chair for the Las Vegas Chapter of Akshaya Patra foundation (www.foodforeducation.org ) since 2010. Sunny is the President of TiE (www.tie.org) for the Las Vegas Chapter.

Vishal Agarwal

President & Chief Operating Officer

Vishal is the Co-Founder & COO of CareCognitics. Prior to CareCognitics, Vishal was the Co-Founder & CTO of BeyondCurious an Innovation Consultancy. Vishal is a seasoned technology evangelist who brings over 20 years of experience in solving complex challenges and creating solutions that have transformed businesses. Vishal is a Silicon valley native and holds a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Mumbai.

Chief Marketing Officer

John is the Chief Marketing Officer of CareCognitics. John is also the Founder of the HealthcareScene.com blog network which currently consists of 10 blogs containing over 11,000 articles with John having written over 5500 of the articles himself. These EMR and Healthcare IT related articles have been viewed over 18 million times. John also manages Healthcare IT Central and Healthcare IT Today, the leading career Health IT job board and blog.

Spencer Kubo

Chief Medical Officer

Spencer brings a diverse set of experiences and expertise to the chronic care management strategies of CareCognitics.  Previously, he was Medical Director of the Heart Failure-Heart Transplantation Program of the University of Minnesota, where he authored over 250 original articles and abstracts.  He has also been Chief Medical Officer or a consultant to numerous medical device companies developing breakthrough treatments to improve the lives of patients with cardiac diseases.  He maintains a part time clinical practice and most recently was the Physician Lead of the Heart Failure Service Line for Allina Health.  In that capacity, he lead a multidisciplinary group focused on improving outcomes of heart failure patients treated at any of the 12 hospitals and over 90 clinics in the Allina system.
